Animal movie starring Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol and Triptii Dimri received a thunderous response at the box office. The film turned out to be one of the highest grossers of 2023. Even though there was a lot of criticism that followed post the release of Animal, with many top actors too commenting on it, the film still performed well. Even with its release on Netflix, Animal became one of the most-watched films on the OTT platform. Now, once again Animal is trending as director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has picked his choice of actor to play the role of Ranvijay in the Tamil version of the film. At an award function, Sandeep Reddy Vanga was asked to choose who he would cast in the Tamil version of Animal. To this, he picked South superstar Suriya. As soon as he said Suriya, his answer was met with a loud cheer. Post the release of Animal, there were many who even compared Ranbir Kapoor’s role to that of Suriya’s Rolex and found similarities between the two. It seems Suriya is just perfect to be Ranvijay in the Tamil version of Animal. Suriya is currently busy with his upcoming film Kanguva. Animal star Bobby Deol also plays a pivotal role in the film. Bobby Deol is the mighty villain and the first look has already sent chills down the spine of the viewers. Kanguva is one of the most expensive upcoming new movies and fans are quite excited for it already.

Talking about Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the filmmaker has his hands full with many big projects. He is currently working on Spirit that stars Prabhas in the leading role. The details of the film, storyline etc. have been kept under wraps by the makers. Post Spirit, Sandeep Reddy Vanga is expected to begin work on Animal Park which is a sequel to Animal. Ranbir Kapoor will be back as Ranvijay and the first part dropped hint that he could have a dual role to play in the film. Sandeep Reddy Vanga has promised fans that Animal Park will be bigger and crazier.
