The makers have already found new actors, Rohit Purohit and Garvita Sadhwani, to portray the roles of Armaan and Ruhi. The news of the duo’s sudden contract termination has not yet been fully absorbed by the ardent fans of the Samridhii Shukla-starred show. While Shehzada was removed for his unprofessional behaviour, makers, in their official statement, stated that Pratiksha, who was a newcomer, failed to meet expectations as per the character requirement. Now, in a recent interview by Saloni Sandhu, aka Charu, the actress reveals the possibility of makers replacing an actor, and one can certainly relate the answer to Pratiksha Honmukhe’s exit.

Saloni Sandhu aka Charu indirectly confirms Pratiksha Honmukhe’s exit due to her poor performance?
In an interview with TOI, Saloni Sandhu, aka Charu, opened up about the performance pressure an actor goes through, especially if they are part of such a mega-show. She states that when she initially joined the cast of Rajan Shahi’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, there was indeed pressure to perform. She mentioned that if the cast doesn’t deliver up to the legacy that the show has created, the makers would certainly want to replace the actors, as the makers too have the pressure to run the show. She stated that while she initially had her doubts, now she has settled in because of the audience’s acceptance.
Saloni’s this statement indirectly makes a connection with Pratiksha Honmukhe’s exit from the Samridhi Shukla-starrer show. DKP Production, in their official statement, stated that the reason they are terminating Pratiksha Honmukhe’s contract is because she failed to live up to the expectations as per the character requirement. Saloni, in the above interview, openly stated that if actors do fail to perform, the makers can replace them. It is safe to say that now, apart from all other reasons, the makers certainly removed Pratiksha from the show as they didn’t feel her performance as Ruhi was up to the mark.
As of now, Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe haven’t released any official statement about their sudden exit from the show.
